Police Seek the Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on Mira Mesa Boulevard in San Diego

San Diego, CA (September 15, 2022) – Tuesday morning, 25-year-old Breogan Cristobal sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Mira Mesa Boulevard.

The hit-and-run crash in San Diego happened at around  6 a.m. on September 13,

Reportedly, Cristobal was on his motorcycle, headed to work, riding west on Mira Mesa Boulevard approaching Reagan Road. He said he had a green light, but saw a Toyota 4Runner creeping into the intersection.

Moreover, the SUV turned right, cut across three lanes, and into his lane. 

Moments later, Cristobal was flying into the SUV’s rear windshield, helmet first.

However, the SUV driver, a female, in her 20s or 30s, looked at her own damage, stayed several minutes, and drove off.

The accident left Cristobal with a concussion, along with road rash and severe bruises on his left side. Doctors said his helmet may have saved his life.
