51-Year-Old Brenda Valdez Dies in Clovis Road Traffic Collision [Lubbock, TX]

Police Investigates Fatal 2-Vehicle Crash on North Loop 289

Lubbock, TX (November 30, 2023) On Wednesday morning, 51-year-old Brenda Valdez was killed in a traffic collision on Clovis Road between an SUV and a big rig.

According to the Lubbock Police Department, the fatal 2-vehicle crash happened around 8 a.m. on the 3400 block of Clovis Highway near North Loop 289.

Reports say that Valdez was driving an eastbound SUV when her vehicle collided with a semi-truck stopped at a red light.

Authorities pronounced Valdez dead at the scene, officials are investigating the deadly collision and have not released additional information at this time.
