1 Dead after Corona Motorcycle Accident near Kalus Avenue
CORONA, CA (February 7, 2020) – A 48-year-old woman identified as Brenda Richardson of Eastvale, was killed Thursday evening in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident on River Road.
Richardson was traveling west on her motorcycle when a car veered into her direction from the oncoming lanes near Kalus Avenue. Around 7:40 p.m., the car and motorcycle then collided.
The impact threw Richardson off the bike, leaving her with critical injuries. Medics transported her to a nearby hospital before she was later pronounced dead.
In addition, the light-colored sedan escaped the scene, and was last seen on Penrose Avenue. Authorities are still looking for the driver and hit-and-run car with significant damage to its passenger side.
