Brandy Johnson Killed in Brutal Wrong-Way Crash on US Highway 101 [Shelton, WA]

1 Dead in Shelton Auto Accident on US Highway 101

SHELTON, WA (February 26, 2024) – Friday night, 52-year-old Brandy Johnson died in a brutal wrong-way crash on US Highway 101.

The incident happened as Johnson drove south in the northbound lanes of US Highway 101, near Cloquallum Road.

Then, a 22-year-old man was also driving north on the same highway. As a result, the Oroville woman crashed head-on with the other driver, leading both vehicles to stop on the road.

After the crash, the woman who was being suspected of driving under the influence succumbed to injuries at Mason General Hospital.

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old driver from Mexico suffered injuries and was transported to the same hospital.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
