Ridgecrest Man Dies in Early Morning Head-On Crash with Semi Truck on Highway 395 at Athel Avenue

 
INYOKERN, CA (February 4, 2019) – A man was killed following a head-on crash early Monday morning in Inyokern, CHP officials said.
 
The fatal crash happened around 3:10 a.m. on northbound Highway 395 at Athel Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle collided head-on with a semi truck for unknown reasons. The driver of the vehicle suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
 
The deceased was later identified as 30-year-old Brandon Marquise Turner of Ridgecrest.
 
Alcohol was not being ruled out as factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
