2 Injured in Nevada City Auto Accident on Highway 20 near Missouri Bar Road
NEVADA CITY, CA (September 9, 2021) – Monday, Brandon Roberts and Cheyenne Stewart sustained injuries in a head-on crash on Highway 20.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Highway 20 near Missouri Bar Road.
CHP Officer Mike Steele confirmed that both parties were Nevada City residents. He added that 37-year-old Brandon Roberts drove westbound, while 25-year-old Cheyenne Stewart headed east.
“Mr. Robert had a medical episode. Then he drifted to the right-hand side of the road. He struck an embankment which rebounded him back across the lanes into the eastbound lanes where he collided into the Honda driven by Miss Stewart,” said Officer Steele.
As a result, both Roberts and Stewart were listed in “critical” condition.
