Brandon Latronica Jr of Bakersfield Killed in Union Avenue Collision [Bakersfield, CA]

Bakersfield, CA (May 20, 2023) – On Thursday, 23-year-old Brandon Latronica Jr of Bakersfield died while others were injured following a Union Avenue collision.

The Bakersfield Police officers responded to the three-vehicle crash at about 10:04 a.m. in the area of East 18th Street.

Latronica was the driver of one of the involved vehicles. The paramedics rushed him to Kern Medical where he later died almost five hours later.

Moreover, occupants of the other vehicles complained of pain and minor injuries.

The authorities are still investigating the incident and it is unknown if alcohol or drugs played a role.
