[UPDATE] Branden Ocampo Killed in Desert Hot Springs Motorcycle Accident on Highway 62
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (May 7, 2020) – Last month, Branden Ocampo died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 62.
The authorities received reports of the fatal crash just before 12:30 p.m. on Highway 62 near the Pierson Blvd cross street to the highway.
The Cal Fire Dept. revealed that the incident occurred between a passenger vehicle and the 27-year-old motorcyclist.
When officers arrived at the crash scene, they declared the Ocampo dead immediately.
They also added that the Perris man slipped under the passenger car during the crash, causing fatal injuries.
One Woman Also Injured
Meanwhile, the responding paramedics transported the female driver of the passenger vehicle to the hospital with moderate injuries. The reports also confirmed that the female driver was the only person inside the vehicle when the crash occurred.
When the California Highway Patrol responded to the crash scene, they shut down at least one eastbound lane of Highway 62 while their crews investigate.
