Devin Delvalle Arrested after Crash on Mason Road in Cinco Ranch

Cinco Ranch, TX (September 28, 2023) – Thursday morning, a 14-year-old boy died in a crash on Mason Road.

Subsequently, police arrested 20-year-old Devin Delvalle after the crash.

According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, the 14-year-old boy was riding his bike to school and was at a crosswalk on Mason Road near Cinco Park when the car hit him. 

When deputies arrived around 6:45 a.m., two good Samaritans with medical training had stopped to perform CPR on the boy, but he died. 

Delvalle remained at the scene of the accident but was later arrested under the new Texas law that cracks down on drivers involved in accidents that injure or kill a person in a crosswalk.

The teen victim lived in the neighborhood and was heading to school. His name hasn’t been released.

Further investigation is ongoing.
