AVONDALE, AZ (January 13, 2022) – Tuesday night, a 14-year-old teen boy died in a pedestrian crash on El Mirage Road and Pima Street.
 
The authorities received a report of a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian just before 7:30 o.m. Moreover, it happened on El Mirage Road and Pima Street.
 
According to reports, as the teen crossed the street, the vehicle hit him. At this time, the authorities haven’t clarified whether the victim used a crosswalk.
 
After the crash, responders transported the teen to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities do not believe that impairment played a role.
 
Also, the driver stayed at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation.
