1 Dead in Lancaster Multi-Vehicle Accident on 20th Street E and Avenue K

LANCASTER, CA (December 22, 2024) – Friday night, a boy died in a brutal 2-vehicle crash on 20th Street and Avenue K.

The incident happened at 5:30 p.m. on 20th Street and Avenue K.

A man driving a Dodge Charger was entering the eastbound lanes of Avenue K, just east of 20th Street East, when another man driving a Lexus ES350 collided with the Charger while traveling east in the No. 1 lane, according to Det. Jorge Diaz.

Reports said that the force of the collision pushed the Lexus into the westbound lanes of Avenue K, where it was struck by a westbound Nissan Rogue.

A passenger in the Lexus was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name and age have not been released. The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact traffic investigators at the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station by calling 661-948-8466.
