KINGS COUNTY, CA (February 15, 2022) – Sunday morning, a 14-year-old boy died in a crash on Highway 43 near Nevada Avenue.
 
The incident happened just after 3:30 a.m. on northbound Highway 43 near Nevada Avenue. Moreover, it occurred north of the city of Corcoran.
 
According to investigators, a driver lost control of his vehicle as he drove along the curved road. Then, his vehicle veered into the dirt shoulder and rolled over multiple times.
 
Then, the impact ejected the teen from the car and suffered fatal injuries. According to officials, the boy failed to wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the CHP does not believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
