6-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized after Crash on Torrey Pines State Beach in San Diego
San Diego, CA (July 1, 2022) – Friday evening, a 6-year-old boy sustained injuries in an e-bike crash on Torrey Pines State Beach.
The crash in San Diego happened on July 1.
Erica Davis, the mother of the boy said that two boys were riding e-bikes on the beach going about 18 miles per hour before one of the riders, an 11-year-old boy, struck her son.
She then took her son to the Rady Children’s hospital for cuts and bruises on his body.
Davis reported the incident to the park rangers and says she is still waiting for more clarification if the boy was allowed to ride his bike on the beach.
Further investigation is ongoing.
