1 Killed in San Jacinto Bicycle Accident on Bryce Canyon Way near Ramona Expressway
SAN JACINTO, CA (January 6, 2022) – Wednesday morning, a boy riding a bicycle died in a crash on Bryce Canyon Way near Ramona Expressway.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Dawn Blair, the incident happened at around 11:30 a.m. Moreover, it occurred at the 400 block of Bryce Canyon Way, just north of the Ramona Expressway.
Reports revealed that a westbound Dodge Ram 3500 heavy-duty pickup hauled a utility trailer. Then, it struck a boy riding a bicycle. After the crash, the Dodge driver remained at the scene.
Moreover, officials confirmed that the victim died in the crash.
Furthermore, authorities questioned the motorist but they made no arrest at this time.
Meanwhile, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
