Evening Head-On Collision on Highway 395 in Boron Injures One
BORON, CA (December 21, 2018) – A woman was injured following a head-on crash Friday evening in Boron, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash happened around 7:20 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 395 and Highway 58.
According to the CHP, a vehicle was trying to pass when it collided head-on with another vehicle. When officers arrived, they located a maroon Mercedes-Benz sedan blocking the roadway.
A female occupant in the Mercedes suffered a leg injury and was taken by paramedics to a hospital for immediate treatment.
The northbound lanes were shut down during the rescue and clearing operations.
No vehicular damages were reported in the initial log.
Further details of the crash were not immediately available. CHP is handling the investigation.
