The accident happened in the area of Soboda Street, which is west of Recker Road, and Queen Creek Road.
According to police, 16-year-old Larson drove a 2002 model Toyota Corolla. He tried to make a left turn when a 42-year-old man driving a 2001 model GMC Yukon struck him.
Whatever happened, he pulled out and a vehicle T-boned him, said Brandon Larson, Bohdi Larson’s father.
Brandon Larson stated that his son died on the operating table. The passenger of the other vehicle sustained injuries and was rushed to the hospital. The driver was not hurt.
Police said that speed and impairment were not factors in this crash.
