Motorcyclist Blaine Martineau Dies after Crash on North 1st Avenue and East Limberlost Drive in Tucson
Tucson, AZ (May 1, 2022) – On Saturday, 53-year-old Blaine Martineau died in a two-vehicle crash on North 1st Avenue and East Limberlost Drive.
The fatal crash in Tucson happened on April 30.
Tucson Polie said the collision involved a red 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt and a Blue 2019 Yamaha YZFR3 motorcycle.
Reportedly, the Chevrolet Cobalt attempted to make a left turn onto southbound 1st Avenue and collided with the Yamaha YZFR3 that was traveling northbound on 1st Avenue.
The rider, Martineau, sustained critical injuries and died before arriving at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the Chevrolet Cobalt driver stopped after the collision and cooperated with the investigation.
No other information is immediately available.
Further investigation is ongoing.
