Phoenix, AZ (July 17, 2024) – Wednesday morning, 71-year-old Biyan Wu died in a crash on 63rd Avenue and Buckeye Road.

 The crash took place around 1:40 a.m. near 63rd Avenue and Buckeye Road. 

When officers arrived, they found 71-year-old Biyan Wu in the roadway with critical injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene. 

According to officials, the crash occurred while she walked along the roadway with a shopping cart. 

The semi-truck driver stopped shortly after the collision and is not believed to have been impaired at the time.
