De Dujalae Evans Arrested in Fort Worth Auto Accident on Interstate 35 and Sycamore School Road
FORT WORTH, TX (August 13, 2024) – Monday morning, Billy Randolph died in a horrific DWI crash on Interstate 35 and Sycamore School Road.
The incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 35 at Sycamore School Road.
According to reports, a Nissan Versa that was traveling the wrong way struck an officer who was responding to an earlier crash involving an 18-wheeler. Then, the Nissan fled the scene of the crash without stopping to provide aid.
Moreover, responders rushed the officer, identified as Sgt. Randolph, to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the driver of the Nissan, identified as 25-year-old De Dujalae Evans, for intoxication manslaughter causing the death of a peace officer.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
