59-Year-Old Bill Irwin Seriously Hurt in Violent Pedestrian Crash on Clovis Highway [Lubbock, TX]

Lubbock, TX (January 14, 2024) On Friday evening, 59-year-old Bill Irwin was seriously hurt after a pedestrian crash on Clovis Highway.

According to the Lubbock Police Department (LPD), the traffic accident happened at about 7:19 p.m. near the intersection of Clovis Highway and North Indiana Avenue.

Reports say that Irwin’s vehicle had broken down in the 3400 block of Clovis Highway. Meanwhile, another driver, Kristopher Green attempted to help push the disabled vehicle, by pushing the car with his vehicle.

Unfortunately, Green, believed that Irwin was inside his car and started pushing the vehicle, which rolled over Irwin.

Medics rushed the injured Irwin to University Medical Center by EMS with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities are investigating the traffic accident and have not released further information.
