BANNING, CA (June 8, 2020) – Early Saturday morning, a big rig driver sustained injuries in a single-vehicle crash on the 10 Freeway.
 
According to reports, the truck hauling a load of grapes went off the 10 Freeway and fell off a bridge before landing on 22nd Street.
 
The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway.
 
After the crash, responders transported the driver to a hospital with minor injuries.
 
“Luckily, there was no one below at the time of the collision,” the California Highway Patrol stated.
 
Furthermore, the Caltrans crews took charge of cleaning the spilled grapes. They also fixed the guardrail damage before they reopened the 22nd Street off-ramp.
