Fatality in Interstate 5 Crash
Tukwila, WA (August 24, 2021) – On Tuesday, a big rig driver died in Interstate 5 crash.
The fatal two-vehicle crash took place at the intersection with Interstate 405 near Southcenter.
Investigating officers said the other vehicle’s driver was merging from southbound Interstate 405 onto southbound Interstate 5 when the big rig was approaching Interstate 405.
The other vehicle changed lanes and struck the big rig. As a result, the big rig struck a guardrail and went down an embankment.
Meanwhile, the authorities are still investigating the Interstate 5 crash.
