Investigates Semi-Truck Crash on Southbound I-15
Mountain Pass, CA (March 16, 2023) – On Wednesday morning, a big rig collision on Interstate 15 resulted in injuries.
California Highway Patrol says that the semi-truck crash happened around 7:45 a.m. about two miles after Nipton Road on southbound I-15 in the slow lane.
Reports stated that the driver of a red big rig lost control, went through the center median, and collided with a blue semi-trailer in the opposite lane.
The collision tipped the red big rig to its side and wreck the blue semi’s trailer full of pallets of candy. Thousands of candy bars and debris were scattered across the freeway.
Authorities say that no major injuries were reported.
