Santa Maria, CA (March 14, 2024) On Thursday afternoon, a person suffered injuries in a horrific big rig collision on Highway 101.

According to the CHP, the 2-vehicle crash happened around 2:15 p.m. along Highway 101 near Clark Avenue.

Authorities say that the collision involved 2 semi-trucks, firefighters extricated the driver of a black semi-truck involved in the crash.
