70-Year-Old Woman Fatally Injured in Tragic 2-Vehicle Collision on Adams Avenue
Fresno County, CA (August 25, 2023) On Wednesday evening, a 72-year-old man and his 70-year-old wife died after a big rig accident on Manning Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 2-vehicle collision happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection with Adams Avenue, east of the city of San Joaquin.
Reports say that a 32-year-old man driving a semi-truck hauling grapes turned into Manning Avenue when he entered the path of an SUV. Consequently, the big rig collided with the car.
Officials say that the crash killed the SUV’s 72-year-old male driver and the 70-year-old female passenger sustained serious injuries.
Medics airlifted the injured woman to a hospital, where unfortunately she succumbed to her injuries and died at the hospital.
