Tonopah, AZ (September 15, 2023) On Thursday afternoon, a disastrous big rig accident on I-10 led to serious injuries.

The Department of Public Safety say that the major injury crash happened on eastbound Interstate 10 at 411th Avenue at around 2:30 p.m.

Authorities say that a semi-truck may have jackknifed and crashed into 2 other cars.

Officials closed the eastbound lanes for about two and a half hours before they were reopened.

Medics say that serious injuries have been reported, however, no additional information is available at this time.
