Cyclist Injured After Being Struck by Car in San Diego
San Diego, CA (June 12, 2020) – On Tuesday, a 30-year-old man incurred severe injuries after being struck by a car while riding his bike in downtown’s East Village.

The accident happened around 11:50 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of G Street and 17th Street.
Initially, a 40-year-old man was driving a 2019 Honda Accord eastbound on G Street. Then, a cyclist at the red light of the intersection was hit by the Honda.
The rescuers rushed the victim to a hospital for his injuries, which were not fatal.
Meanwhile, the Honda driver stayed at the scene. Intoxication was not a factor in the crash.
The accident is still under investigation. Further updates are pending.
