Unidentified Victim Hospitalized after Bicycle Accident near California Avenue in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 28, 2020) – On April 10, a hit-and-run driver struck and injured a bicyclist on Baker Street, the police revealed.
Bakersfield Police Department responded to the collision just before 4:30 p.m., on Baker Street and East California Avenue.
At this time, the events leading up to the accident remain unclear. However, authorities confirmed that the driver of the vehicle escaped the scene. Furthermore, the bicycle rider sustained serious injuries.
Authorities later described the involved vehicle as a 1967 El Camino, faded green with lowered with multi-spoke wheels.
