BRENTWOOD, CA (July 12, 2020) – Saturday morning, a bicyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash near Walnut Boulevard.
 
According to reports, the 28-year-old female bicyclist riding his bike crashed with the vehicle around 8:30 a.m. The crash occurred inside Los Vaqueros Reservoir, ear Walnut Boulevard, and Camino Diablo.
 
Meanwhile, the bicycle rider wore a helmet when the crash occurred, said East Contra Costa Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Craig Auzenne.
 
When the emergency crews arrived, they aided the woman and flew her to John Muir Walnut Creek Medical Center. Furthermore, the female bicyclist sustained major head and shoulder injuries, Auzenne revealed.
