Bicyclist Killed in San Jacinto Street Collision [Hemet, CA]

Hemet, CA (January 15, 2024) – A bicyclist was killed following a San Jacinto Street collision Saturday evening.

It was around 6:30 p.m. when the deadly crash happened near the intersection with El Nita Lane.

Responding officers located the bicyclist trapped under a car and took him to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. 

Moreover, investigators determined that the bicyclist was traveling in an unknown direction when he was hit by a car in the northbound line.

Officers arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Police are investigating.
