Suspect Driver in San Diego County Hit-and-Run Crash Wanted
San Diego County, CA (March 9, 2024) – A bicyclist was killed following a S Melrose Drive collision Thursday night.
The authorities responded at 10:28 p.m. to the collision between two vehicles and a bicyclist with Buena Vista Drive.
Responding officers declared the bicycle rider dead at the scene.
The first motorist that collided with the bicyclist stayed at the crash scene and cooperated with the investigation.
But the second motorist that struck the bicyclist fled the scene. Officers believed the second involved vehicle was a white crossover or SUV.
The sheriff’s department officers are seeking the public’s help in locating the second vehicle.
