Bicyclist Killed in Crash on Highway 88 at Fairchild Road [STOCKTON, CA]

Bicycle Rider Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Highway 88 in Stockton

 
STOCKTON, CA (September 6, 2019) – A bicyclist was killed in a crash late Friday evening on Highway 88 in Stockton.
 
The crash happened around 11:08 p.m. along the westbound lane of Highway 88, also known as Waterloo Road, near Fairchild Road.
 
CHP officials responded and located the bicyclist lying on the ground. Paramedics provided life-saving measures, but the unidentified victim was declared dead at the scene.
 
The driver that struck the bicyclist pulled over and cooperated with authorities.
 
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and liability.
