Hit-And-Run Vehicle Involved in Fatal Bicycle Crash on Pacific Highway
FEDERAL WAY, WA (September 13, 2019) – A bicyclist died in a crash on Pacific Highway South on early Friday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened near the intersection of South 279th Street at approximately 12:30 AM. Based on a report from Federal Way Police, a car traveling on Pacific Highway struck the bicyclist. However, police do not know details leading up to the collision.
Paramedics arrived to the scene shortly after. After that, they pronounced the victim dead at the scene. However, the victim’s name is not yet known.
Police are still working to get a description of the vehicle involved.
No additional information is known to the public at this time. However, an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
