Tulare County, CA (August 13, 2024) – A bicyclist was fatally injured following a hit-and-run crash on Road 68.

The CHP officers have responded past 9 a.m. to the crash scene near Highway 198.

Moreover, the authorities determined a northbound driver approached the man riding an northbound orange bicycle on the right shoulder.

The car struck the bicyclist and immediately fled the scene.

Unfortunately, the bicyclist died in the collision.

Troopers are searching for the car and suspected driver.
