Bicyclist Killed in Dobson Road Vehicle Crash [Mesa, AZ]

Mesa, AZ (April 02, 2022) On Friday afternoon, a fatal vehicle crash on Dobson Road claimed the life of a bicyclist.

The Mesa Police Department (MPD) says that the deadly collision happened near
the intersection of Dobson Road and 1st Avenue.

Rescuers took the bicycle rider to the hospital where the patient was pronounced dead.

Moreover, police say that the driver did not leave the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Additionally, authorities closed the intersection for over an hour and reopened it at around 2:45 p.m.

Police are investigating the crash and have not released additional information on the parties involved.
