1 Dead in San Marcos Bicycle Accident on San Marcos Boulevard and Via Vera Cruz
SAN MARCOS, CA (September 21, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a 79-year-old bicyclist died in a crash on San Marcos Boulevard and Via Vera Cruz.
The incident occurred at around 9:15 a.m. on San Marcos Boulevard and Via Vera Cruz.
According to reports, a Toyota Corolla struck a bicyclist. When the authorities arrived, they found the cyclist with head and leg injuries. Then, responders took him to a hospital where he later succumbed to injuries. His identity remains undisclosed due to pending family notification.
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old Fallbrook man who’d been driving the Toyota suffered no injuries in the crash.
Moreover, the authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
