1 Dead in Bakersfield Bicycle Accident on Eucalyptus Drive and Fairfax Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 17, 2021) – Tuesday night, a bicyclist died in a crash on Eucalyptus Drive and Fairfax Road.
The incident happened at about 5:48 p.m. Moreover, it happened in the 6601 block of Eucalyptus Drive, just east of Fairfax Road.
According to the CHP, a female bicyclist crossed the street in front of a blue Honda Civic. Then, the Honda Civic hit her.
As a result, responders declared her dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene until police arrived.
Furthermore, the authorities confirmed that the driver wasn’t under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
