Bicyclist Pronounced Dead in Orangethorpe Avenue Crash
Fullerton, CA (April 21, 2020) – Tuesday afternoon, one unidentified bicyclist was killed in an auto crash on Orangethorpe Avenue.
Responding officers arrived at the 1900 block of West Orangethorpe Avenue just west of Brookhurst Road, upon receiving crash reports around 2:53 p.m., on April 21.
According to the Fullerton Police, the bicyclist was found in critical condition. Due to the extent of their injuries, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Furthermore, the events leading up to the accident remains unspecified.
Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Fullerton Police later confirmed that drugs or alcohol were not potential factors in the accident. However, they did not disclose the identities of both parties involved.
