Jeffrey Ray Dies, Javon Holston Arrested after Crash on 34th Street and McDowell Road in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ (December 17, 2021) – Thursday night, 53-year-old Jeffrey Ray died in a crash on 34th Street and McDowell Road.
The crash in Phoenix happened at around 10 p.m. on December 16.
Phoenix Police said a sedan driven by 18-year-old Javon Holston was traveling east on McDowell Road when the vehicle struck the victim and drove off.
EMS took the victim to the hospital but later died from his injuries.
The 18-year-old Holston was booked into a Maricopa County jail on suspicion of leaving the scene of a collision.
