Bicyclist Injured in Traffic Collision on Northgate Boulevard [Sacramento, CA]

(March 26, 2022) On Friday, a 13-year-old bicycle rider was injured in a traffic collision with a school bus on Northgate Boulevard.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says the traffic crash happened around 7:50 a.m. near Northgate Boulevard and Wisconsin Avenue.

Authorities say that the teenager was riding their bike to school when the Twin Rivers Unified School District school bus struck the teen.

Paramedics took the teen to an area hospital with minor injuries.

School officials have informed the student’s mother who went to the hospital to be with her child.
