Van Driver Wanted in Nixa Traffic Crash
Nixa, MO (December 21, 2024) – A bicyclist was injured following a hit-and-run crash on Main Street Monday night.
It was around 8 p.m. when the bicycle crash happened near Scott Wayne Drive.
Troopers said a blue minivan had struck a man on a bicycle.
The van driver, along with a witness, helped the bicyclist to his residence. However, the driver fled north when the ambulance was called to evaluate the bicyclist.
Luckily, the bicyclist only incurred scrapes and was not seriously injured.
Witnesses said the van driver was a white man with dark hair approximately 17 to 20 years old. Call the Nixa Police Department for more details.
