Officers Search for San Luis Obispo Injury Collision Suspect

San Luis Obispo, CA (December 7, 2022) – Just before 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday, a bicycle rider sustained injuries in a  hit-and-run crash on Los Osos Valley Road.

The authorities responded to the crash scene in the area of Madonna Road wherein another vehicle was also involved.

When the officers arrived, they found the bicyclist in the roadway and rushed the victim to an area hospital by ambulance.

According to the authorities, a footage showed the vehicle driver stopped at a Shell gas station and confronted the bicyclist in the roadway before fleeing the scene.

Police described the driver to be a woman between the ages of 20 to 30. She has long, wavy, light brown hair. According to the officers, she was last seen westbound on a newer gray Toyota 4Runner on Los Osos Valley Road. She was wearing a black tank top, blue jeans, a brown Ugg-type boot on her left foot, and a black plastic walking cast boot on her right foot.
