Police Seek the Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on Highway 41 in Fresno

Fresno, CA (March 12, 2022) – Saturday night, a bicyclist sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 41.

The hit-and-run crash in Fresno happened at 9:30 p.m. on Highway 41  on-ramp onto East Shaw Avenue.

Fresno Police said a vehicle struck the bicyclist then immediately fled the scene.

A witness said the vehicle didn’t stop at the stoplight, striking the bicyclist who was in the crosswalk and had the right of way and was thrown off. 

The car passenger went out and kicked the bike off and took off without helping the bicyclist.

Investigators said there is no suspect description other than driving a white hatchback with a possible red sticker on the back window.
