LOS ANGELES, CA (May 13, 2021) – Monday night, a bicyclist suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Florence Avenue and Flower Street.
 
The fatal incident happened at around 6:55 p.m. The driver of a maroon Kia Optima traveled east on Florence Avenue. Then, the Kia made a right turn onto Flower Street where it crashed into a male bicyclist in the crosswalk.
 
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that the Optima driver didn’t stop. Instead, the driver drove south on Flower Street.
 
As a result of the hit and run crash, the bicyclist sustained critical injuries.
 
At this time, the authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the hit-and-run driver.
