Springfield, MO (November 14, 2024) – A bicyclist sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on East Pythian Street. 

A vehicle hit a bicyclist early Thursday morning, but police report the cyclist is expected to recover.

Officers responded to East Pythian Street around 4:45 a.m. and discovered the driver had fled the scene. 

According to police, the driver also knocked down several road construction cones along Pythian.

Authorities believe the vehicle likely sustained significant front-end damage, but they currently lack a detailed description of it.
