1 Hurt in San Diego Bicycle Accident on Florida Avenue near Pershing Drive
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 15, 2022) – Late Sunday, a 54-year-old bicyclist suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Florida Drive near Pershing Drive.
The incident happened just after 10:15 p.m. on Florida Avenue near Pershing Drive. According to reports, the bicyclist traveled on Florida Drive when the vehicle hit him.
Meanwhile, Officer John Buttle said that the bicyclist didn’t use to designated bike lane during the crash. However, the black sedan’s owner didn’t stop to help the victim.
Responders took the bicyclist to a hospital with a skull fracture and a brain bleed. However, his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
