Police Searching for Suspect in East Tanque Verde Road Accident
Tucson, AZ (May 20, 2022) On Wednesday, a female bicycle rider was hospitalized after a hit-and-run collision on North Houghton Road.
The Tucson Police Department (TPD) says that a vehicle struck the bicyclist at East Tanque Verde Road.
Reports say that the vehicle’s driver escaped on foot and was not at the scene when the police arrived.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the woman to a hospital. The woman sustained serious injuries.
Authorities are investigating the scene and are actively looking for the suspect.
Inspect your vehicle’s headlights and turn signals. Be sure that both front and rear headlamps are working properly and visible enough a couple of yards away.
Also, take a reading of your tire pressure and make sure you maintain the recommended maximum. While at it, take a peek under your vehicle and ensure there are no loose objects or leaks.
The perverse actions of a reckless driver can increase the likelihood of traffic collisions.
This is a powerful reminder to always pay close attention to drivers around you. Constantly keep a considerable distance from others just in case harm is near.
