SANTA CLARITA, CA (August 17, 2020) – Sunday night, a bicyclist sustained injuries after a crash on Walnut Springs Avenue.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department officials responded to the scene at about 4:20 p.m. According to reports, a traffic crash involving a pedestrian in a bike took place on the 27400 block of Walnut Springs Avenue.

“A pedestrian was on their bike, possibly didn’t see a car coming … and accidentally ran into a car,” Supervisor Cheryl Sims said. “There’s an injury there and sheriff’s (deputies) are on (the) scene.”

Afterward, responders transported one patient to the hospital. However, the extent of the patient’s injuries remains unknown at this time.

Furthermore, the authorities revealed that the force of the crash shattered the windshield of the car.
