Bicyclist Dies in West 1st Street Collision [Santa Ana, CA]

Santa Ana, CA (February 22, 2022) – On Monday, a bicyclist sustained fatal injuries in a West 1st Street collision.

The incident took place just before 7 p.m. at the intersection with North Figueroa Street.

When the responding officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that a silver van crashed with a male adult riding a yellow bicycle.

Immediately, the paramedics provided first aid, however, the bicyclist still died at the accident scene.

Moreover, the van driver remained at the location and cooperated with the officers’ investigation.

The authorities are still investigating this West 1st Street collision. They said drugs and alcohol were not factors in the incident.
