Bicyclist Dies in S Evergreen Road Collision [Spokane, WA]

Spokane, WA (January 14, 2024) – A bicycle rider was killed in a S Evergreen Road collision early Friday morning.

Investigators said an eastbound bicyclist on the Appleway Trail tried to cross S Evergreen Road when he northbound car struck him.

Officers said the bicyclist may not have stopped before crossing the road or used the traffic signals at the crosswalk.

Immediately, responders took the bicyclist to the hospital where he was declared deceased.
